How do I get BCM to generate a reminder for a specific contact?

When I set a follow up flag in Business Contact Manager the flag appears in
the contact record line but Outlook does not generate a reminder on the
scheduled date and time the way an ordinary Outlook contact does. Can I get
the same behavior as the standard Outlook Contact?

This has been addressed in numerous previous posts. Outlook and BCM are
separate applications with distinct capabilities even though they share
several similiar record object items. The use of reminder follow up flags is
not supported for use in BCM eventhough it is very misleading for a user to
even realize this because this feature still appears as an apparent option on
the toolbar of the Business Contact Record. Follow up flags will only fire
up when used in the native Outlook application items.
