How do I get an updated file for Outlook 2002

I have bought a mobile GPS system, and it needs Outlook. I have the disc
supplied but it says I need a file 2.40.4277.1

I can't imaging why a mobile GPS would need Outlook, but if you say so, I
believe you. What if the system, what is the EXACT text of the error, and
when do you see it?
