I am experiencing a probelm with my computer.

SInce I don't was t to explain it I made a link to the
Microsoft knowledge base page about it. My problem is
that to fix this prblm requires you to have a Windows XP
CD. I bought my computer with Windows XP and do no have a
disk. My System Restore doesnt allow me to do anything
but a destructive restore, So if I can get a Windows XP
disk I will lose all of my data. I have another computer
running Windows XP. Is there any way i can burn
the "disk" of that, or get a disk some other way?
Thank You,
Phil

Get in touch with the person/company you purchased the PC from and get a
Disk from them. They are the only ones that can help you. Also you can BUY a
retail version at almost any computer store or over the NET.

If you bought a name brand computer, the OS setup files may be in the
I386 folder on your C:\ drive and thus wouldn't need the setup disc.

go to www.majorgeeks.com and click on utilities i think and look for
"startup disk for XP" you must get either the pro or home depending on what
you have. one will not work for the other.

You are refering to the "Startup Disk" set. He needs and is requesting the
full setup cd. He needs to get this from his OEM or by a retail version.
Your advice wouldn't help him with this issue.
