How do I get a template to repeat itself?

I just made a template, I think, for legal pleading paper, with my address in
a text box on the left side, drawn margin lines, no numbers. I have tried
using it, but when I get to the second page, the template doesn't repeat
itself, and I need it to do so for how ever many pages the document will be.
How do I get it to do that?

If you want content from the template to repeat on each page, you have to
attach that content to the header or footer.

Read http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/AnchorToHeader.htm for a discussion
of how things that are attached (in Word's jargon, "anchored") in the header
can appear anywhere on the page.

Word cannot do page templates. If you want something to repeat on every
page, you can fudge it by attaching that content to the header or
footer.
