How do I get a PDF file to read correctly on my website?

I scanned a letter to my computer and I want to put it on my website.
Everytime I try the letters come out strange looking, not like letters at
all. I have tried everything I can to make that letter come out so that
people can read it when they come to my website but I can't. It's a PDF file
but it won't read correctly, what can I do? Thank you very much and have a
happy.

can you show a link to this doc?
Maybe if you re-scan it?

does your scanner have OCR software built into the applications that came
with the scanner (Optical Character Recognition)?

You scanned it via Adobe Acrobat? Made it into a PDF via the Adobe Acrobat
program?

This would be an issue you should address with Adobe and any of their user
forums.

If it reads correctly on your machine it should read correctly on the web. Maybe you have corrupt font file(s).
