How do I get a line in an Access report to port over to Word .doc

I'm using some line to demarcate the header and footer of a report. When I
try to use the Office Link to port the Report data over to Word, I don't get
the lines to come with the text...

Thanks for your help.
 
The RTF format does not preserve all the formatting. You either need to use
the snapshot format, or create a pdf file using a third party.
 
Another option might be to change the drawn line to a row of dashes. If you
do, use a fixed font like Courier New so you get wysiwyg.
