How do I format sentences that are too long?

I have a challenge of sentences in cells (labels) that are too long
and I want to have them go on one then one line (ie' making the row
higher) - but once they are inputed, I cannot do this. I know that if
I use ALT_ENTER it will work WHILE I am entering the text, but after
it has been entered, how can I do this?

If you have wrap text and autofit enabled but you can't see all the text
then you have probably exceeded the 1024 char limit for display.

You can hit F2 then add Alt + Enter every 100 chars or so.

Hi David S.,
Do you have wrapped text turned on, in the first place. What Gord mentions is for
really long strings (more than 1024 char) where even wrapped text stops until you
give it a kick to allow you to continue with up to another 1024 characters before
needing another kick. Not documented in specification limits that you can do that.

Wrapped text is set under format, alignment. If you have 2007, it is almost imperative
to use shortcut to get to format (Ctrl+1). With wrapped text on, you may need to
adjust rows by double-clicking on a row boundary for the row or for a selection -- the
problem is that once you do that you are kind of trapped into having to always do that.
