Hi all, how can I get this to work. If it's meant to
be running?? This error keeps stopping programs.

I have a feeling this is what is causing Publisher
to crash. When I try and do anything in it.
Publisher will install and SP3 installs OK on top of it.

BUT anything you do in it, makes it crash.

The error when you try and start this services says.

Could not start the Application Management service
on Local Computer. Error 126: The specified
module could not be found. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

I've been there Will. The main question was
how to restart that Manager. I'm not 100% sure
if it has anything to do with Publisher. Or whether
it matters or not whether it starts or not. Its on Manual
atm.

Hi

If it's on Manual, then the appropriate program should start the Service
when needed. What happens if you stop the Service, then restart it?
Default setting for Application Management is Manual.

Umm, even tho it says Manual, under services
when you go to the properties of Application
Management, it says service status - stopped

So, I can't stop it since it stops by itself!

Also, I've noticed, that this has something to do with
My Computer. Sometimes, when I open a folder
in My computer. The system thinks about opening it.
(It doesn't matter which folder, it can be a Windows
folder, or one I've created).

It then closes My computer by itself (without me closing
the windows/folders myself). As if it crashed. (BUT
there's no error saying the usual please close down the
program etc). I'm 100% it's not a trojan/virus or
otherwise. I have Norton's AV/firewall, and Trojan
Remover. Which are installed atm.

And if I try and start it, that previous message/error
about the module not found appears.

Oh btw I fixed the Publisherprob. It was a printer
driver/printer that I had set to ddefault. That made
Publisher crash. So, it's all go now.
