I just recently took over an Access database that stored Business License
information in our county. Besides the database, we have paper files with
the original BL application stored in a filing cabinet.
I have been assigned the task of entering a Start Date for the business in
the database. This means going through the paper files and manually entering
the Start Date for all businesses. The problem I'm having with this is some
paper files have gone missing. For those missing files, I have no means to
find the start date.
What I was wondering is if there's a way I can find the date a record was
created? This way, I can enter this date as the business's start date.
Any help will be appreciated.
