How do I find my contact list when sending an email?

I have Microsoft Outlook. When I want to send a message, and press on the
"to" line, it gives me an error message and not any of my names. I have to go
out of the email, click on "contacts," and individually select the names, one
after another, in and out.
My old Outlook program did it without any problem.

See my sig.

I have Windows Professional and Outlook 2003.
My error message reads: "The address list could not be displayed. The
contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may
have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information
on how to remove this folder from the Outlook address book, see Microsoft
Office Outlook help."
I just want to get an address from the "To" bar so that I don't have to keep
going in and out of the message.

Google is YOUR friend.
Searching on "Outlook 2003 The address list could not be displayed"
