How do I find and recover the backup copy of a word doc?

I had the auto backup option on in word. My laptop restarted after
installing latest MS updated. When I opened word and the doc I had been
working on, three pages were missing. How do I find the backup copy MS
hopefully made for me? How do I recover it?
