How do I find all shortcuts to a document?

I know that this is not just a Word question. Anyway, several shortcuts to
one document are created by several people and saved in several folders (who
knows?). I want to archive this document and want to replace it with a new
one. I want all the shortcuts to find the new document. I will have to
replace all the shortcuts, because if I don't, the unchanged shortcuts will
eventually find and open the archived document. So, is there a way to find
all of the shortcuts created for a particular document? Appreciate your help.

If you save the new document in the same location and under the same name as
the old, the shortcuts will point to the new document, not the old.

Apart from that, the best you can do is rename the old document, so the
shortcuts cease to work at all. There's really no way to find the shortcuts,
short of searching everybody's computer and looking at the *content* of
every shortcut you find. Which any half-way decent security system will
prevent you doing anyway.
