How do I find a specific word in a document

I don't want to replace...I just want to find & read every mention of the
word "diagnostic", for example.
I'm sure this is basic but I can't figure it out.

Ctrl+F, then enter the word and then click on Find Next

Ctrl+H, type "diagnostic" in the "Find what' box and your desired
replacement in the "Replace with" box.
