how do I enlarge fonts for a printable document in Word 2003

[Ignorance-is-bliss-kinda]

2003 I need to "print up" some VERY LARGE letters for a sign, and Word 2003
seems to only allows a max size or 72 -under the "text size".

I need to have more text size options (bigger ones) that is.

This is mainly for printing not for e-mail or a Website creation.

Again, these enlarged text item need to be in a printable format.

What steps do I take to accomplish this task?

72 is the largest number that automatically appears in that dialog. Type any
number you want up to 1,638. Or, select the text and press Ctrl+] until the
text is the desired size.

You can enter any size, in half point sizes up to 1638 in the font size drop
down - and then hit Enter. (That's the secret part that makes it work.)

Hi Ignorance,

You can type any value from 1 to 1638 in the point size box, in 0.5pt increments. 72pt is simply the maximum selectable size.
