how do i enable the links recieved in an e-mail

any link in explorer will connect ok, but all links emmbedded in e-mail
recieved will not connect. Instead i am in vited to search for 'locate link
browser' in my documents

So, browse to where your browser's executable it. For IE that would be
%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe
