How do I enable macros in a 1997-2003 spreadsheet in Excel 2007

At work we use excel 1997- 2003 Excel spreadsheets .If I want to work on
these at home I can't get the macros working in Excel 2007 . Can someone
please help

Click on Tools, Macro,Security, and set to medium. You will then be prompted
to either enable macros or not, when you open your spreadsheet. Click on
enable.

Office button (Top left)>Excel Options>Popular>Show developer tab in the ribbon
Developer tab>Macro security>Enable all macros

Thank yo for the prompt & very helpful response but I still failed to
activate the macros for my 1997 -2003 excel spreadsheet on my computer with
Excel 2007
