hey I'm trying to share my dsl connection with my playstation 2.
Here's my setup
XP Pro
2 NIC Cards
1 crossover cable
Network adapter on ps2
i have my dsl modem connected to 1 nic card and then I connect the
other nic card using a crossover cable to my playstation 2.
Here's the problem. I can connect fine and share my dsl when playing
certain games. But I got a new game (NBA2K3) and the manual says I
need to enable IP forwarding on the following ports (TCP-12701,
UDP-13701, UDP-32006). I can connect to the game servers and chat but
I can't play anyone because those ports need to be forwarded. How do I
do this in Wingate? and what ip address should I forward it too? The
ip address for the ps2 is 192.168.0.2 & the nic card the ps2 is
connected to is 192.168.0.1 Everything else is set to obtain
automatically.
Can someone please tell me how I would go about doing this because I
am completely in the dark in this area.
