How do I embed a video into a presentation?

I want to be able to email a PPT to someone that can then open and view it
with the video. Is there any other way to do this other than emailing the
video file along with it?

Videos are always linked and cannot be embedded. You'll need to email the video
file along with the presentation file. See:

Use Pack and Go - Click File and Pack and Go is in that menu. Now, you'll
have to tell it to include special fonts, videos, whatever. I would ZIP the
file to compress it as it will grow into a huge beast of a file. Remember,
you're receiving party may have a slow connection and downloading could slow
with large file sizes. Hope this helps.
