I've edited my link bar but I can't edit anything else besides the style. Is
there a magical way to change the font, colors etc etc.

Thanks in advance,

Nigel

It would definitely depend on whether or not your web is using just themes,
themes and a style sheet, or just a style sheet for the appearance of the
link bar.

If it's a theme, you change the font as follows:
Format>Theme>Modify>Graphics - Select your choice (such as vertical
navigation) - then on each "state (normal, hover, etc) click on the Font tab
and make your changes.
To change the link bar text color on a theme:
Format>Theme>Modify>Colors - Click on the Custom tab - then pull down to
location navigation.

There are many more ways it could be done, but this is the most basic.

If that is not what you are looking to do, then go to the
microsoft.public.frontpage.programmin and look for a post by myself =
Peter_G titled Buttons within themes

This will give you the answer on how to modify the themes themselves.

Maybe you guys missunderstood my question. I don't want to modify the theme
or style of the link bar I just want to edit the color/size/font of the
buttons.

But thanks for your reply,

Nigel

If you are using a theme to display the buttons, you *have* to modify
the theme to change the buttons in any way - wether the change is
button size, colour, or font. Changing the button size or colour
means using a image editor and replacing the buttons in the theme.
If you are not using a theme, then an image editor is needed to modify
the buttons, if they are graphics.
If you are using a text style for the buttons, then place the link bar
in a container (<span>, <p>, <div>, <td> - the exact container depends
on your page coding) and apply formatting styles to the container.
The Nav bar will pick up that formatting.
