How do I do numbered bullets in Outlook?

How do you do numbered bullets in Outlook? Especially if what you are trying
to number has been copied and pasted into the e-mail.

copy everything into Word, do it there, then past back into the email

I already figured that out. I knew I could do that, but that is not what I am
asking. What I am asking is there a way to do it within Outlook without
cutting and pasting from program to program.

Do you have the Formatting toolbar displayed when in the new-mail
compose window? I have OL2002 (you did not mention WHICH version that
you use). When I compose a new mail using Outlook's embedded editor,
and because I have the Formatting toolbar displayed, I can pick
whether to use numbered or bulleted indents.
