How do I disable Microsoft Office Picture Manager?

For some reason, Micosoft Office Picture Manager has taken control of my
email. Whenever I receive pictures in an email, Office Picture Manger
removes them from the email and sets them out as attachments. This totally
changes the format of some emails which is very upsetting.
 
This is not a native feature of Office Picture Manager. Are you running any
add-ins?
Also post some more details and exact order of things to occur when you are
experiencing this.
