How do I delete mail that won't send because it is too large

I have a 19mb mail that won't send. when I try to delete it it says it's
already transmitting. its been there now for about a month! How can I get
rid of it!?

Put Outlook into offline mode. Exit Outlook. Reload Outlook. Now
Outlook won't try to send that oversized e-mail. Delete it. Put
Outlook back into online mode.
