How do I delete For Internet Audio/Video... from my Search menu

Hello,

When I just installed RealPlayer 8 Basic, it put the entry,

For Internet Audio/Video...

in the Search menu.
I don't want it there.
I did a registry search for it, even with & in the front,
and found nothing,

How do I delete it?

Do you mean in the Start menu? If so, just right click and choose delete.
Or right click on Start, click Explore and find the offending entry and
delete it from the Start menu.

Kevin, I said in my post, "in the Search menu".
It's great to want to help, but "Read" the post, (using your brain), before
you attempt to help.

From the Start Menu, then up to Search.
For Internet Audio/Video... got added there, above For People, after
installing RealPlayer. You can't right-clik stuff that's there, it doesn't
work. It's somewhere in the Registry, but I haven't found it yet.

I found the offending Key in the Registry, and deleted it, (then looked in
the Search Menu, but it was still there), so I logged off and back on, and
it was gone.

So I'll post the Key to delete, for anyone else that wants it gone from
their Start/Search Menu.
(Remember to either log off and back on, or reboot, after deleting the Key.

tensions\Static\RealSearch

Delete the RealSearch Key (on the left).
