How do I delete dashes from a phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx in Excel?

Select the range
edit|replace
what: - (dash)
with: (leave blank)
replace all

You may want to give the number a custom format: 0000000000

Edit>Replace should do it.

Just make note that if first digit is a zero, it will go missing.

049-123-4567 will change to 491234567
