How do I delete a website?

Hello all! My name is Ellis and I recentaly created a website on frontpage
2003 that is being hosted by tripod.com. Anyways, I have a couple of websites
that I host on tripod, and somehow, they all got joined together. I do not
want to go into detail for your sake, so let`s just say that it is a huge
mess now. I finaly decided to just try and start over, by deleting the
websites from frontpage and then load them again. It seemed simple at first,
but then, I couldn`t delete the sites. I tried everything! Nothing works.
They still show up when I load frontpage. Please help!

Where are trying to delete these webs on your local machine or directly on Tripod's servers?

If they are separate sites, would it not be easier to

1) open separate Tripod accounts for each site (i.e. with separate usernames and
passwords)

2) use subwebs (if supported)

are you opening your local copy of the site (from your hard disk) or from the
remote Tripod server?
