How do I delete a User defined default excel chart

I accidently save a chart as a user defined chart and having trouble simply
deleating it as instructed in the Microsoft Help page on this topic. Any
advice?
 
You should be able to delete it with the following:

Go to Chart -> Chart Type - Custom Types tab. Select the User-Defined
option button at the bottom of the dialog box. Select you chart from the
list of User-Defined charts. Hit the Delete button at the bottom of the
dialog box.

If that doesn't work, try opening the file called "Xlusrgal.xls". All
user-defined charts are contained there. You can delete it from the file.
