How do I delete a messege in my Outbox?

I have a messege stuck in my outbox. I try to dlete it, but it says it can't
because it's started going out. It's stuck, I want it deleted.

Help me please!

Printed and followed instructions per Link. Method 1 did not work. Method 2
unable to delete file. NO messages of any type. Message just stays in Outbox.
Method 3 created a second set of folders. I was unable to delete message or
Outbox folder. In fact, delete was not an option for the folder upon right
clicking the Outbox folder. Method 4 was the most promising. upon attempting
to AbortSubmit, I receive the following error message:
IpMDB>AbortSubmit():MAPI_E_Unable_to_Abort

I continued through the process noted in the link. Did so with Outlook
Online & Offline; without success. I am using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP
Home. Not sure if that makes a difference. Any other ideas. These methods and
link did not work for me. Thanks for the assist!

Is the stuck message a regular email you tried to send out or a read receipt?

Set up a new profile. Seems like your present profile is corrupted.
