How do I delete a layer in frontpage?

Hi! I am very new to Frontpage, and am building a website for an
organization. I am trying to use the first page as a template for future
pages. On my first page, which is using a framed template, in one "page?" or
area, I have used layered a textbox on top. In subsequent pages, I don't
want that layer used. I have tried beginning subsequent pages by "using
existing pages" but I am unable to delete the layer. Any help would be
greatly appreciated! Mahalo!

I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but do you get the old cirlce with a
line through it when you hover your mouse over the layer? If this is the
case, I think (not posotive) you can make that area an "editable region"
which would allow you to edit it on each page. I'm new to dynamic web
templates so I'm not sure that this is your fix, but you might give it a try.
