how do I delete a file in outlook.pst

How do I delete the following file that contains a virus? The file cannot be
opened through My Computer or through Outlook.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst\Personal Folders\Top of Personal
Folders\Inbox\Sales\Mail Server
Report\Update-KB8156-x86.zip\Update-KB8156-x86.exe\[Unpack]\[Embedded#PGPMDCIM]

I guess that this is a folder in your Outlook?
Inbox\Sales\
Looks like you have a message with the subject "Mail Server Report" with a
virus in it.

Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]

It's apparently a file attached to a message in the Mail Server Report folder. Open the message and delete the attachment or delete the entire message.

I know, but I can't open the message or the folder to delete it. I've
conducted an Outlook search on all folders and it doesn't come up.

Yes I know, but I can't delete it. When I search the Personal Folders and
the Archive Folders it doesn't appear.

Is Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst the data file you're using in Outlook? If not, try opening it with the File | Open | Outlook Data File Command. Do you have Sales folder under Inbox?
