How do I delegate an appointment?

Just started using Outlook 2003. How do i forward or delegate an appointment
to someone else in my contact list? In Groupwise, you simply hit the
delegate button and select the contact you want to delegate it to.. What is
the proper process in Outlook? Thanks.
 
Outlook doesn't really have a concept of delegating an appointment. A task, yes, but not a meeting. I suppose you could forward the item to the other person.
