How do I customise the info displayed on a message board?

I have used the FP discussion board wizard to create my discussion pages, but
would now like to cusomise them. I would like for more info to be immedietly
visible on the board i.e. not just the subject and 1 other piece of user
submitted info. On the submission form I would like to add several other
fields which once filled out will also appear directly on the board. I would
also like to be able to customise other parts of the forms...like once
someone clicks on a sublect, I would like the article to appear on a page
thast has the same background as all my other pages. etc .etc.
Thanks for any help.

Apply a theme to the discussion web. The theme can be modified to use your
background images and fonts. Note that the discussion web should be in its
own subweb.
