I am tying to create drug cards in word for a parmedic class and one of the
requirements is that they have to be typed on 4x6 note cards. What I
invision is to somehow get a 4 x6 template or something that resembles a note
card so I can type the information that I have accumulated. I am note very
computer smart so the least complicated way would be nice. Thanks in advance
for you assistance in this matter.

If these are individual cards (as opposed to several on a sheet separated by
microperforations) then can your printer physically handle such a small
page?

If it can, and this size is not offered as a standard size, then it is
unlikely that the printer driver will accept this as a custom page size, so
the thing to do is to accept the nearest larger standard paper size
(file > page setup) and adjust the margins to give you a working area a
little less than 4x6. Neither Word nor the printer will care what paper
size you have set.

When you are happy with the results, save as a template.
