How do I create my electronic address book?

andI am new to Microsoft Word 2007. I am trying to create or insert to save,
addresses in the address book. I can't . I was told to create a profile
which, I believe I did. I put the name of the company in...but that pops up
when I click on the address book icon and I still cannot insert addresses to
save. Help!
 
Word uses the contacts list of Outlook to store addresses.
