How do I create Index Cards that I can use for Academic Research P

I want to find out if there is an easy way to create, store and retrieve index cards on Word 2003 for use in academic research papers (with sources for a bibliography, end notes etc.). I would prefer to create these cards in Word rather than use a separate Index Card software if it is possible. Would appreciate any helpful suggestions on this.

Thanks

Hi, I see that you did not want to use a separate index card software
- but take a look at ndxCards ( http://www.ndxcards.com ). It
integrates nicely into MS Word, so that you can add end notes and
bibliography into a paper that you write with Word, including
formatting references.

Hey Steve,

Late on this, but thanks for the link. Those specific articles don't seem
to be up on the site yet, but a very handy site to know about.
