how do i create an association in folders option control panel to.

i am trying to view an email attachment, also print same. each time i click
to see the attachment i get a message saying: (file does not have program
associated with it to perform this action , create an association in folders
option control panel. )
new user. how do i do this please??

Control | Panel | Folderoptions | Filetypes

Associate there a program to this file extension.

Assign there the file extension, click on "Change" and select the
program with which the file is to be opened.
