How do i create a rule?

How do i create a rule that changes colour depending on the result for e.g

when the cell calculates a percentage from the form, i want the cell to turn
green if the percentage is greater than 86% and if its below the cell should
turn red. Is there a way for this to be done??

Are you using Access or Excel? In Access, you will find Conditional
Formatting in the Format tab of the Form Design View. You can't do it in a
table or a query. It has to be in a form or report.

Ben, I don't have your example but try this
Let's suppose that the cell that has the % calculation is D1, go to
1)
Format, Conditional formating , cell value, greater than, and enter 86,
patterns and choose green

2) Format, Conditional formating , cell value,lessr than, and enter 86,
patterns and choose red
