My company works exclusively with PowerPoint for client presentations,
proposals and reports. A very common problem we encounter is the ability to
create a consistent chart format. When creating a new chart, PowerPoint
provides a 3-D black and white chart with lines around the graph bars and
chart area, gridlines, labeled axises, and a legend. Most of the time, I
require a color scheme that coordinate with our client, 1-dimensional chart,
completely line-free, sometimes legend-free graph. With 50 slides + on
average per report all displaying graphs, individually changing the chart
colors, lines, etc. etc. becomes tedious. There seems like there should be
an easier solution.
Is there a way to define format specifics for charts? I liken this to the
slide master or slide template but it does not appear to be available for
charts. Is there a way to do this?
