How do I create a Gradebook using MS Access??

I have an IPAQ 3955 Pocket PC and wish to make a MS Access Gradebook that
will work on both my desktop PC and the IPAQ.

I looked at the template on the MS Site, but it's set up for College
Coursework. I teach elementary school, so I need fewer options.

Options I'd need are:

1. Student Name and ID#

2. Parents' Name(s) Address, Phone (Work and Home), Emergency Info.

3. Classes (Lang. Arts, Math, Soc. Studies, Science) -- where I'd be able to
enter assignments and have the grades averaged. I'd only need to have
student points earned / by points possible.

I know there is a way to use an EXCEL gradebook, but Access may be easier to
view and use on the IPAQ.

Any feedback would be helpful.

You can e-mail me at School - (e-mail address removed)12.wi.us or Home -

Thanks.

Pocket Access is very misleadingly named. It's strictly a database engine -
no forms, queries, reports. You could certainly transfer data from Access to
a Pocket Access file on your Pocket PC, but you will not be able to use
Access to view or edit the data on the Pocket PC.
