How do I create a custom button in PowerPoint?

I know how to customize my toolbar, but some buttons I'd like to have aren't
in the set you can drag to the toolbar. For instance, I am always going to
Format-->AutoShape (or Object or Placeholder)-->Text Box-->Word wrap text in
AutoShape and would love to have that available on the toolbar. I know you
can create custom buttons in Excel but can't find a way to do it in
PowerPoint. Any suggestions?

If you know VBA you could write an addin that creates the button and performs
pretty much any action you like when you click it, but when it comes to
customizing buttons, all PPT lets you do in this case is create a button to
open the dialog box, not move to the correct tab and/or change a specific
option.

Did you know that you can right-click the shape and choose Format [whatever] or
just doubleclick the shape to open the formatting dialog box?
