how do i create a backup disc with pre-installed windows xp?

my pc came with windows pre-installed.there is no backup wizard in
accessories and i have not got the xp installation disc. how do i create a
backup/rescue disc?

Your vendor MUST, to be in compliance with their agreement with Microsoft,
supply you with a method of returning your machine to the factory-gate
settings. Consult your User manual on how this is done, or, if you've lost
that, get in touch with your vendor.

Microsoft requires all OEMs to provide a way to restore Windows to
factory default, so if you didn't receive a backup CD then you have a
backup partition 'hidden' on your hard disk, which is usually started by
pressing an F-key at startup (typically F10 or above.)

Your OEM may - may - be willing to sell you a recovery CD at nominal cost.
