How do I courtesy copy others when assigning a task?

Currently using Outlook 2000. I'm using task function to assign tasks to
personnel in another branch and need to CC their boss. Can't find any way to
add the CC function into the task assignment. Appreciate any help you can
give me.
 
You'll need to forward it, not CC.
