how do I copy calculations outside of a pivot table

I am trying to do calculations outside of a pivot table and reperence cells
in a pivot table In Excel XP. It uses the Getpivotdata functions and will
not allow you to copy the formula down. This forces me to make a seperate
formula for each calculation I want to do. Is there a way around this?

One work around is to hardcode in the cell addresses in
your formula by typing in B6, for instance, instead of
pointing and clicking.
