How do i convert years to months (formula)

Im trying to do a PMT funtion, but i have years instead of months. We have to
have a formula, no manually converting. Thanks Steve
 
We? Years as in decimal years, if so there is no 100% exact answer unless
you have something like

3.5 if so you can us 3.5*12
