How do I convert embedded audio to an external linked file?

There are steps to convert linked files to embedded, but not from embedded to
linked.

MRM,
Save your presentation as HTML. This will create a folder with all the HTM,
graphic, and sound files. Find your sound file, put it in the main folder
and insert it as a linked item instead of an embedded one. (If you are
keeping it a WAV file, then be sure to drop the size value for Link sound
files greater than XXX. that value is in Tools--> Options.
