How do I convert a picture to a jpeg file?

I have pictures in My Pictures and Power Point and I need to convert them to
Jpeg to send out ASAP???
 
IrfanView is a free program that will do it. (FILE | BATCH CONVERSION)

Hi

Do you mean you want the slides to become jpegs? If so use file -> save
as -> select jpg in the drop down. You can also right click any pictures
within the powerpoint and select save as picture.

If you're converting individual images from your PowerPoint:

Right click on image
Save as Picture
Select jpg
