How do I convert a MS Works document to an XP document?

I use XP but I have several MS Works documents that I need to open. What can
I do?
 
Recent versions of office/word can open works file. Try file>open and select
appropriate document.

Which version of Works? The old Works filters are linked from the downloads
page of my web site.
