How do I completely remove Charter Internet from my Pc ?

I went to add remove and removed charter Internet from my pc but am
still
left with a charter pipline support agent in the lower right hand
corner, I am running Win 2000.

Look in Start | Run | regedit | OK Navigate to these keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Same location in HKCU

See if you can tell on the right hand side the executable for this Charter thing. That is what is putting the icon in your system tray. If not found look in your Startup folders for your profile and All Users:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
