Everytime i seem to "x" out of outlook, or I go to file, exit, outlook seems
to remain open (says my Windows Task Manager). How can I completely close
out of outlook?

(I'm running Outlook 2007)

Thanks!!

You might have success with this: in Task Manager, go to processes. Search
for all the instances of Outlook and right click on each one, choosing to end
the process.

Hi Dshore --

the question is more so that i don't have to go to my task manager. I'd
like outlook to quit when i 'x' out of it instead of force quitting it via
the task manager. Generally I have one open -- but then if i try to reopen
it, i have two -- when i quit out of the version that has more ram, outlook
will re-open.

So back to the original question -- how do i get it to quit out in the first
place?

thanks!
