Hi

Is there a way to get outlook to colour(or markup) ALL emails
from people in your address book, as they come in?

With thanks

Sorry this didnt work!
I tried "Color code messages by Category" on the link you specified.

This requires that everyone on your Contacts list
has been put into a "Category" (,no?).

So I added a Category ( "Friends") and then
I added a couple of friends who were already in my inbox
to that category.

But it they didnt change colour!

(Yes I can get them to change colour if I specify them
individually - but quite quickly you run out of rules!!)

P.S. ...And I can get the message to change colour by
searching for a specific word in the headline (or body of the email).
But I still cant get Category to work...! :-(

What version of Outlook are we talking about? I believe it is a bug in
Outlook 2002

Bl**dy H - after all that work!
Yes I *am* using Outlook 2002!

Havent Micro$oft ever fixed it with a patch?
That is seriously irritating.

So what precisely *is* the bug?
That it cant recognise a user's category in the colouring utilities?
