how do I clear documents from open a document list

Hi
how do I clear documents from the 'open a document list' in word. This is
in the window that appears at the right hand side of the new document when I
open Word.

Hi!
I think if you go to Tools/options/general and either untick th
"Recently used files" checkbox or reduce the number to zero it shoul
work.

I don't have the same version, but they may be similar. On the Word
toolbar, open Tools>Options, then on the General tab, there is, on mine, an
option to save as many 'recently used file list' files as you want, or you
can remove the mark entirely.
